Michael Jordan to the Rescue

As most of you know, I read a lot of blogs. I mean a lot. Matt and I both do, but his are always about the law and politics and mine are more, well, random.

Here is one I hit up daily: http://www.mentalfloss.com/blogs/

Well guess what I found on there today!? A way to save the world...

So you know everyone is all freaked out about this guy

Kim Jong-il

But here are so fasanting facts I found our about the dictator...

The world’s most feared dictator is a hoops junkie. During a 2000 visit, then-Secretary of State Madeleine Albright presented him a basketball signed by Michael Jordan. The Chicago Bulls are the favorite team of Kim Jong-il, who reportedly has a video library with every game Jordan ever played. At 5′3″, the Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army is roughly the same height as Mugsy Bogues. (cut and pasted from www.mentalfloss.com/blogs)

So this got me thinking back to a conversation Matt and I had about Kim, that he is a raging alcoholic... so thanks to wiki I found out even more!
  • Has a fear of flying
  • Has a large VHS collection, 20,000 tapes.
  • Loves Elizabeth Taylor movies
  • Is the author of the book, On the Art of the Cinema
  • Is an avid golfer, often getting 3 or 4 holes-in-one per round!
  • Has composed 6 operas
  • Refers to himself as an "internet expert"
All these facts come from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Jong-il#Personal_life. I never found anything on line about the drinking problem...

So anyways, here is what I think we should do. Get Michael Jordan and Elizabeth Taylor to take Kim a blu-ray player and a subscription to NetFlix. Bam, happy dictator! I mean, he would have to behave if he had all that technology and choice at his finger tips! How could he possibly have time to threaten the world then? Hey Barack, this advice is free, but the next session is gonna cost ya.
