Suck It, Trebek

I finally made it to Trivia Night! Yes! It was everything I hoped it would be... except for the sports round... boo on that. I guess they knew I was there, since there were 2 questions that involved Bill Clinton (my favorite president). And I am happy to announce that I got both of those questions correct!

Do you know these answers?

1. What NC city was Krispy Kreme invented?

2. Monica Lewinsky's infamous dress was what brand?

3. Who is taller Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter?

4. In what NC was Dale Earnhart Jr. born?

5. Who is taller Sylvester Stallone or Jon Stewart?

We also had an awesome team name, "Suck It, Trebek" from the Saturday Night Live sketch Celebrity Jeopardy.

I think we should invest in Team Shirts

Back to Blogging?

Yes, its true. I want to blog again. Take it as a New Year's resolution (kinda). I have been trying to figure out how to do it through Facebook but cannot seem to get quite what I would like. So here we are, back Blogger.

Welcome 2009! I was rather sad to say goodbye to 2008 though. 2008 was a wonderful year for Matt and I. We got married and took that fantastic Vegas honeymoon! But we are looking forward to what's ahead in 2009. Matt will graduate Law School (May), Take the Bar (July), Start Work (August?) and then who knows what... As for me, 2009 will hold 2 more quarters with my current students, a glorious summer break, and a fresh group of smiling faces in July. Oh, and it just occurred to me, no more grade level chair! Yes!

I have a small list of things I want to accomplish in 2009:
-Sew/Craft more
-Spend more time with people who are important to me
-Cook healthier
-Take a cake decorating class
-Read more
-Learn to correctly bind a quilt
-Drink less soda

Here is a little 2008 in review:

December 2008- Christmas Card

Tomorrow!

I am ready for bed. Tomorrow I wake up and I get to be the bride. How exciting!!! I can't believe the day we have planned so long for is finally here!

I want to take a moment to thank everyone for everything they have done. We had a wonderful rehearsal dinner tonight and it was great to see everyone together and having fun. Matt and I are ready to "take the plunge" tomorrow!

Please keep checking the blog after the wedding. I will post wedding pictures, reception pictures and honeymoon pictures when we get back.

Also, the announcement for our wedding will be in Sunday's Sanford Herald and The Fayetteville Observer. Pick one up and check us out!
