Oh, I love weeks like this one! No work, all fun and getting a ton of things done! Yay! Kari and I had lots of fun going to Fayetteville yesterday and getting her dress fitted, fits perfectly! Just a bit of adjustment in the shoulders. I think they purposely make those shoulders too big so that you have to have a fitting done. All my girls had to have their straps fixed. Today Amy and I are hitting the mall for bachelorette party outfit shopping! I am so excited about the big party tomorrow!!! Saturday will be very busy though, dress fitting in the morning for Stephanie and Amy and then some shopping and then PARTY! Woo Hoo!
I am hoping to get Matt up to the Cary Mall on Sunday to be fitted for his tux and go ahead and pick out everything so that the other guys can go up there and be fitted as well. Once that is done I will feel 100% better...
Our calendar is FULL from now until the wedding, this weekend my bachelorette party, next weekend SC for Jason and Beth's wedding, the weekend after that is Kari and Nathan's Wedding and then school starts back for me and 2 weeks later is our wedding! Whoa!
Well, I will keep everyone as posted as possible without ruining to many surprises!

40 Days
Our wedding is getting closer and closer! I am very excited. I don't have too much new news to report, things are kind of in a lull around here... thank goodness!
The report from Macon, GA is that the flowergirl dress has arrived and needs just a bit of adjustment to fit Miss Ava. I can't wait to see her in all her flowergirl glory! We hear that she is practicing her duties, mostly being quiet... ; )
This weekend will bring my batcheolorette party, woo hoo!!! Watch out! I can't wait to see what the girls have planned, I know we are going to have a great time!
Frankie and I went through twenty some photo albums this weekend looking for pictures of Matt in his younger years. Found some great ones! Now to make copies of those and copies of mine and get those ready for the reception. Thanks for all the help with that Frankie!
Well I am going to sign off for now! Hope everyone has had a great week!

44 Days Away
The wedding is getting closer and closer! Wedding responses are starting to come back to us, we've had some great song requests! If you have more than one feel free to message us on here and we can add it to the list! :)
Ordered my garter tonight, woo woo! I am so excited, it is being made from a seller on Etsy If you have never checked out www.etsy.com you really should! They offer handmade items, anything you can really think of and the options are awesome! I love to check them out daily to see what's new.
Hmmm, what else... Oh, Matt and I should have our wedding bands next week! Yay! I can't wait to see them. My engagement ring is currently at the jewelers to have the bands matched up against them perfectly. We went with two small bands to wrap around my engagement rings and Matt went with a traditional band for his. Hopefully we will be able to get our marriage certificate this coming week, it is on the to do list.
Hope everyone is having a great week!

They're Gone!
Invitations are out! Mailed them this morning... Here I am so happy to be done with them.

Here's a sneak peek at the full box...

Also the flowers have been ordered and the bridedsmaid's dresses are safe and secure at Mom and Dad's house. So now the only thing really left is to get the guys fitted for their tuxs.

Been Awhile... 55 days left!
Sorry its been so long since I have posted last. It has been very busy around here! This past week has brought lots of events, 2 showers, invitations arriving and my bridal portraits coming in! Fun stuff!
My dear students had a surprise bridal shower for me at school. It was too cute! They had kept the secret for 2 whole weeks, I couldn't believe it. We had cookies, M&M's, lemonade, and chips all on polka dotted plates. It was very sweet.

Then afterschool I was given a shower from all the staff at school. We had a great time and I received some wonderful things! I also received a ton of yummy recipes! Yay! A big thanks to 1st grade for throwing such an awesome shower!

And the invitations are in and they are awesome! Just what we wanted! Sadly, the post office has really let me down though. I mean you change the price of stamps for some crazy reason yet the only 42 cent stamps you offer are Frank Sinatra, a flag, and the liberty bell. Yeah, those really say Wedding to me... ugh. They also informed me that since my envelope was 1/8 an inch bigger than the regular size envelopes that it would cost a dollar to mail each one! Can you believe it?! Ugh! And you wouldn't believe what the dollar stamp looks like... it is a greek god. A half naked man on a stamp, oh yeah that is what I want to mail out to all my friends and family! So Amy the wonderful person she is researched online to help me find something and we came up with 2 of last years 2 ounce wedding stamps per envelope. But Mom and I had to drive to some teeny tiny post office in Fayetteville just to find them. But I have them now, thank goodness.
Oh and a date has been set for a Bachelorette Party! Woop Woop!
Well that's the latest. Hope all is well with everyone else out there!

Bridal Portrait, Invitations, and Napkins... Oh My!
Whew! What a week! It started out with my bridal portrait on Monday. I had a beautiful bouquet (thanks Joan) of pink Gerber Daisies. Had my hair done by Joy, it looked perfect and didn't move an inch! The dress fit great, the alterations were perfect!
So Dana took me to The House in the Horseshoe for an outside session. It was AWESOME! I can't wait to see the proofs. We also did some outside shots at The Old Mill and some inside shots at her studio.
I will tell you that when I put on the dress at the studio I had a bit of a "moment". I hadn't seen everything together, and when I saw the dress, the hair, the shoes, the jewelry, the makeup, the flowers, the everything... my heart skipped... I am getting married... whoa. It was a neat moment. Wonder when Matt will have his moment... at the alter when he falls out cold probably.
Matt and I also just sent the order in for our invitations. I can't wait to get them back. They are going to be perfect! Brandi was so awesome, if you ever need anything printed she's the one to go to! We also ordered cake napkins through her. They are super cute and Matt picked the design out.
Tomorrow we are going back to the jewelers to really pick out the bands (haha). As many of you know this has been something we can't decide on. So tomorrow is it, we are really going to do it (or so we claim). I can't decide about engraving though...
Well that is about it for now. I think as soon as I get these invitations sent out I will be on easy street (or at least that is what I am telling myself).

Bridal Shower *Lots of Pictures*
My wonderful family gave me a bridal shower this past Saturday. A big THANK YOU to everyone who came and a double thank you for all the wonderful gifts! Here are some pictures of the shower.

The table before the punchbowl was placed on the end... isn't it pretty!?

Cupcakes and a yummy cheeseball! And pink daisies!

Up close on the cupcakes that my sister-in-law made! Aren't they cute!

Fiestaware! I love it!

Soft towels, in green and blue.

My sister, Rhonda, me and my aunt Kathy.

More Fiestaware!

Someone crashed the party!

Amy and I.

My college roommate Misty and I

I watch a lot of Wheel a Fortune, thus the Vanna White pose.

Who has two thumbs and feels really awesome?
This girl right here!

Thanks to my wonderful family!
