Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
I have so much to be thankful for...
I am thankful for a wonderful husband to share my life with, for my sweet little doggie that makes my heart swell every time she howls when I come home, for a wonderful family that I love dearly, for fantastic friends that keep my spirit up and make me laugh. I am thankful for my 1st home, for technology, for my blogfans :) and for chocolate. I am thankful for naps and bad reality TV that makes me laugh. I am thankful for snow days, workdays, intersession, and summer vacation :) I am thankful that I have a job, food to eat, rights and freedom. I am thankful for knee socks, that this paint matches and now we don't have to paint the whole bottom level of our house (our Thanksgiving miracle).
When you think of all we have, you just have to be grateful. Today should be a day that we truly thank each person in our lives for being there. May each and every one have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.

Home Happenings
Matt and I are still getting things straightened out with our new home. I am finding lots of great deals on Craigslist. I love it, like a daily treasure hunt! :) Here was my latest find...
Only $120 and it is solid wood! :) Matches our cabinets perfectly!
Matt also got a desk...
There are a lot of pieces to this desk... Next purchase is bookcases for his office and a dining room table to match the hutch.

Sewing Studio Thoughts
I've been sick the last few days... fever, sore throat, congestion, no appetite... blah. Test negative for Flu and Step (that's a relief), dr. thinks it is just a virus.
So between naps and gatorade sips I have been thinking about my new sewing studio. My dear sister helped me paint both spare rooms last weekend (see pics in previous post). Now my cutting table, sewing machine desk, and bookcase have been moved into my Sewing Studio (don't you just love that name?)
So I have been thinking about all the ways to store the fabric I have. I am thinking that I am going to go with the comic book cardboard technique...

Don't ya just love this? Little mini bolts! Some have been homemade out of cardboard, and others have used comic book cardboard inserts. I think they are like $9.00 for 100 inserts, seems like a seriously good deal for all that organization!

Fall Back
Thank goodness for that extra hour of sleep. That was awesome! :)
We've been busy today. Found a great pizza place less than 1.5 miles from the house, checked on our furniture (came home to do more measurements) and bought some "home" things at Target.
When I got home it was so dreary and yucky that I decided I would scoot to the grocery store (less than a mile) and picked up some goodies.
I ended up making Chili for dinner with grilled cheese sandwiches (yum yum)
And these cutie pies ;) Mini pumpkin pies made in a mini muffin pan! I was able to make 4 dozen out of one recipe!
